Paddle Schedule:
Each paddle outing will have an event/trip leader assigned who is both familiar with the location and circumstances anticipated. Most trips are day trips but there are some interesting overnight trips planned as well to such places as Cortes Island and Quatsino Sound. Skill levels will range from beginner to advanced, and most trips will be nearby. Additionally, certified instructors have stepped forwards to assist with advancing paddle skills. Again, at no cost to the participants.
As always, safety is our main concern. No trips will proceed if wind and weather is not conducive.
Paddle trips are scheduled well ahead of time and listed here.
Some trips require pre-registration and may have limits to the number of participants. Proper equipment and general knowledge of rules and safety procedures is expected, along with a signed waiver in all cases. Usually, further details will be provided by the trip leader prior to each outing, including cancellation if necessary.
To Join the PGOSA Paddlers (aka SloMo) please do the following:
Current membership in PGOSA is required; you are required to present your PGOSA membership number to join.
Secondly, you will need to complete a Waiver Form and submit that to Cheryl MacIntosh You may request a form from her for completion.
