cycling
Description: PGOSA Casual and Intermediate Cycling members go on group rides, (mostly E-bikes, some manual), throughout the Oceanside area. Rides are weather dependent.
Current PGOSA membership is required for insurance purposes, in addition to registering with the cycling group. (see below)
Safety and Liability: All riders are responsible for their own personal safety. No one is permitted to ride without proper gear (helmets are mandatory).
Cycling on roads and Highways brings inherent risks and dangers, we would like to remind you of the liability waiver you signed when joining PGOSA
Riders are provided with information on riding safety in their Introductory package. We strive to ensure that our rides are safe and that we adhere to the cycling by-laws. If we have a large group of riders, we often split into two more manageable groups – Casual rides ~18-22 km/hr. & Intermediate riders ~18-24 km/hr.
